Payroll Processing Management

  • Review and maintain payroll administration processes and procedures
  • Document payroll process
  • Monitor legislative changes and implement
  • Sign off variance reports for all payrolls
  • Review all payroll accounting reconciliations
  • Ensure payroll accurately processed
  • Lead payroll processes
  • Review monthly reports for accuracy
  • Drive continuous improvement of payroll processing within the group

Legislative responsibilities

  • Implement all increase in accordance with applicable rules
  • IRP 5 5 submissions
  • Annual COID returns
  • Monthly UIF Declarations 

Payroll Administration support to Group

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationship with all heads across the Group
  • Manage the timeous resolution of payroll queries by attending to escalated queries and reviewing unresolved queries
  • Staff Benefit and Compensation communication to all relevant stakeholders

Budget Management

  • Input into annual departmental budget
  • Contribute to capacity planning for department

Staff management

  • Participate in the recruitment of payroll staff
  • Conduct performance reviews to measure performance against agreed objectives
  • Lead on all payroll projects within the Group

 

Desired experiences and qualifications

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • 10 years experience within a SAP environment
  • Advanced Excel
  • SAP Payroll, Personnel administration and Time
  • 5 years payroll supervisory experience
